Safari Jacket|Pursuing the elegant Mogambo style.*Only available form batak House Cut

With origins in the 1940s and 50s, and returning into vogue in the 1970s, the "Safari Jacket." batak Original's Safari Jacket is a thorough reproduction of this mid-century order-made product like that seen in the 1953 movie, "Mogambo." Our aim was to preserve the functionality of military wear, while also engendering a sense of mature elegance. By tightening the relaxed form with a belt, a glamorous look is created. Note the ample chest and the tailoring of the shoulders. We offer both long and short sleeves to suit the season in which you choose to wear it. In addition, the belt can optionally be cut for a snug fit (tax not included).
